Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNOLOGY ON LOGISTICS EFFICIENCY
The objective of this research is to examine the influence of supply chain technology on logistics efficiency, specifically its impact on process automation, accuracy, and speed. A survey design is employed for its ability to gather large amounts of data from a diverse population. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 320 respondents is calculated to ensure statistical reliability. The case study focuses on a technology-driven logistics firm in Enugu. The reliability coefficient score of 0.87 confirms the survey's reliability. Findings indicate that supply chain technology significantly enhances logistics efficiency by automating processes, increasing accuracy, and speeding up operations. Recommendations include investing in cutting-edge supply chain technologies and training logistics personnel to effectively utilize these technologies.
